Kypseli (greek definition for Beecell) is a central municipal district of Athens, roumored to be the world’s second most densely populated urban area after city of Hong Kong.

One of the oldest neighborhoods of the upper middle class of Athens, Kypseli the last twenty years has incorporated a high concentration of ethnically diverse communities mostly from Senegal, Albania, Poland and Russia therefore it’s every day life has been enriched with different social, linguistic and religious backgrounds.

Forced to live precariously, immigrant workers of the lowest-wage are mingled with small bourgeoiss inhabitants, university students and BoBo, transforming the area into one of the most interesting and alive places on the urban map of Athens.
